Located in Om Kret Subdistrict Pak Kret District On the west bank of the Chao Phraya River Opposite Koh Kret It is a temple built around the year B.E. 1963, formerly known as Wat Noi because it is located along the Bang Noi Canal. Later it was moved to the current location and changed its name to the Great Temple in 1920. Somdet Phra Maha Samana Chao Krom Phraya Yao Chirayanvarorot came to stay at the temporary residence built by the provincial governor to offer his stay from May 26 to July 11, 1920 for 17 days due to His Majesty's satisfaction in the residence. His Majesty had a brighter mood with better health and wellness. Therefore, the temple was renamed as Wat Yai Sawang Arom
